New bonus for deployed personnel!
You may have read about the new tax-free bonus that is now being given to soldiers on deployment to Iraq, Afghanistan and certain deployments to the Balkans. This new tax-free Operational Allowance is currently set at £2,240 for a six month tour and is welcomed throughout the British Army.
